Hello Families,

As we approach the end of the season and Conference, I wanted to share a few thoughts and reminders with everyone.

1. Dive Team will have practice at Spindletop tonight from 5-6pm.
2. Pasta Party is tomorrow from 6-8pm at IHCC. The HYPE for conference begins now! We will have posters, fairy hair, car markers, etc to get the hype started!
3. We will have practice from 5-6pm on Sunday night! Please try to attend!
4. Dive Conference is on Sunday. Our divers our a huge part of our team and contribute a ton to our success. If you are signed up to compete at Dive Conference on Sunday, please make sure you are there! Best of luck to our divers as they start off the meet for us on a strong note!
5. On Monday & Tuesday, wear all the Idle Hour gear and be ready to cheer. We will have some Pom Poms to hand out.
6. As we previously mentioned, the theme for Wednesday Conference is Western. Participation from everyone is strongly encouraged - parents, kids and coaches included - this is what makes it more fun. There are great items on Amazon (green cowboy hats, sheriff badges, bandanas, etc.) that can ship quickly if you don't already have stuff.
7. Kids have to earn the opportunity to swim on Wednesday. We have to be ready to go bright and early Monday & Tuesday mornings so we have as many people swimming in finals on Wednesday. Let's ALL rally behind the kids and create a positive energy and environment for them!
8. We will communicate this with the kids as well, but please continue to encourage your kids throughout the meet. One bad race does not make a bad meet. Great teams show resilience. Our team as a whole was not at our best at Arlington, our ability to turn it around before Conference is what will make us great!
