IHCC Gators Weekly Update: 6/8-6/14

Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. As we gear up for our second full week of the season, we wanted to share some upcoming events with everyone.

Meet @ Hartland (6/10)

This is our first away meet of the season, but it is still in Lexington. With it being an away meet, we need to know about any late entrants ASAP. If you did not get the chance to sign up and would like to attend, please let me know ASAP. Directions to Hartland can be found HERE on our website. We will be starting the dive portion of the meet 30 minutes earlier than normal. I will leave the schedule below. We also have some open volunteer positions that need to be filled. I will leave a link to sign up below.

    • Arrive - 1:45p
    • Warm Up - 2:00p

  • Food/Drink
    • There will be 3 food trucks at the event, as well as the pool's concession stand.
  • Parking
    • The parking lot at Hartland is small, so be prepared to park on nearby neighborhood streets. Please do not park in the clubhouse front parking lot (especially dive families who may arrive early), as that's where the food trucks will set up. 

Upcoming Events & Attendance Deadlines

Events to sign up for this week are as follows.

  • 6/17: Away Meet @ Mt. Sterling
    • This is an away meet. Let's show how well we can travel! I will have details about the meet ASAP.
    • Attendance Deadline is Sunday, June 14th at 5p.

    • Volunteer Positions will be posted ASAP
  • 7/12-7/15: 2026 Conference Meet (@Spindletop)
    • This is what we work the entire season for! It takes ALL OF US. Hoping for a huge turnout here.
    • Attendance Deadline: Sunday, June 28th at 5p

  • 6/25: Kings Island Team Trip
    • This is for our Meet Ready Gators ages 6 & Over. Meet Ready Gators under the age of 6 can attend if a parent chaperone comes as well. There will be some sort of cost associated with this event (both kids and parent chaperones) to cover transportation, food, and park tickets. We will let you know what that amount is as soon as we know.
    • Attendance Deadline: Sunday, June 14th at 5p

Volunteer List @ LCC

Thank you to those who have already signed up for our later meets, such as LCC on July 1st. I want to apologize for an error on my end. For the LCC meet, I accidentally posted the job list for our home meets instead of the one we use for our away meets. Most of the jobs are unaffected, but there were a handful that have been impacted. I have already emailed the affected people separately this evening. If you have any questions related to the jobs for that meet, please let me know.
