I hope everyone is doing well. We have finalized details for the Conference Meet, and I wanted to share them with you all.

Volunteers

All volunteer positions for all 4 days can be found HERE. They are sorted a little differently than normal. They are broken down by day, then session, and each job we have in a particular session should be listed together. Let's try to fill all of these quickly please, as that will help the coaches out a ton! For our officials, Hart and Ashley will be coordinating our rotation. I will ensure you receive credit for working.

Swim Meet Format

The swim portion of the meet is broken down into 3 days. Monday & Tuesday are prelims swims. We do the same events as a normal meet, with the 10 & Under Swimmers doing their events on Monday and the 11 & Over Swimmers doing their events on Tuesday. To swim at Wednesday's Finals Session, you must qualify from the Prelims Sessions on Monday & Tuesday. On Wednesday, all ages will be together and it will run in normal meet event order (youngest to oldest - Medley Relay, then Free, Then Back, Then Fly, then Breast, then Free Relay). While no points are scored on Monday & Tuesday, we have to come out and compete on those days so we are set up for Wednesday! Bring chairs and blankets to sit on. We will have a tent over our team area.

Swim Meet Schedule

• Monday (Swim Prelims for 10 & Unders)
  • Arrive at Spindletop- 7:20a
  • Warm Up- 7:40a
  • Meet Starts at 9:15a
  • Meet Typically Ends around 3:30p
• Tuesday (Swim Prelims for 11 & Overs)
  • We will be warming up at IHCC, then driving to Spindletop.
  • Arrive at IHCC for Warm Up- 7:20a
  • Warm Up- 7:30a
  • Leave IHCC for Spindletop- 8:00a
  • Arrive at Spindletop- 8:30a
  • Starts/Turns at Spindletop- 8:40a
  • Meet Starts- 9:15a
  • Meet Ends- Typically around 2:40p
• Wednesday (Swim Finals for All Ages)
  • Arrive at Spindletop- 8:00a
  • Warm Up- 8:20a
  • Meet Starts- 9:15a
  • Meet Ends- Typically around 3:10p, with awards throughout the day and at the conclusion of the meet.

Other Conference Related Events

Reminder that we have the following Conference Related Events over the next 5 days.

• Pasta Party/Spirit Night on Saturday from 6p-8p at IHCC.
• Conference Prep Practice on Sunday from 5p-6p at IHCC.
• Conference Prep Practice on Tuesday from 5p-6p at IHCC.
