Swim Conference Update

July 5th

Hello Families,

I hope everyone is doing well. I just wanted to come on here and give some updated regarding the swim portion of Conference. Reminder that the swim portion is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Monday is prelims for 10 & Unders, Tuesday is prelims for 11 & Overs, and Wednesday is finals for all ages (you must qualify from the prelims to swim at finals).

General Things to Note

  1. Please refer back to the parents letter sent by the CKSDC. It has a ton of info about how the meet will operate. CLICK HERE to read that letter.
  2. Volunteer Positions have been posted. Please CLICK HERE to sign up. If you are a Stroke & Turn Official, please reach out to Hart Boardman or Ashley Hopkins. They will be making our team's rotation schedule for the Stroke & Turn obligations we have to fill.
  3. We will be in the same tent location as last year. Please CLICK HERE to see the map of the grounds in case there is severe weather.
  4. The Psych Sheet can be found by CLICKING HERE.
  5. Please CLICK HERE to read about our team's theme and mission for Conference. We need FULL PARTICIPATION FROM ALL OF OUR PARENTS/FANS to motivate our kids!

Monday (10 & Under Prelims)

  1. We have many volunteer obligations to fill. Please see the volunteer link above to sign up.
  2. Here is the schedule for the morning's events. We do not have a timeline of the meet, so we do not know how late into the afternoon the meet will go. Usually, we wrap up between 3p-4p if the weather cooperates. Please see below for the schedule.
    • Arrvie- 7:45a
    • Warm Up- 8:00a
    • Meet Starts- 9:15a

Tuesday (11 & Over Prelims)

  1. We have many volunteer obligations to fill. Please see the volunteer link above to sign up.
  2. Here is the schedule for the morning's events. We do not have a timeline of the meet, so we do not know how late into the afternoon the meet will go. Usually, we wrap up between 2:30p-3:30p if the weather cooperates. Please see below for the schedule.
    • Arrvie- 7:05a
    • Warm Up- 7:20a
    • Meet Starts- 9:15a

Wednesday (Finals for All Ages)

  1. We have many volunteer obligations to fill. Please see the volunteer link above to sign up.
  2. We do not have warm up assignments yet. We won't find those out until after the prelim sessions have concluded. The meet will begin at 9:15a, but we do not have an arrival time yet.
